A fee of twice the current monthly minimum water rate shall be paid prior to the activation of a water account. The funds will be applied to the final bill upon termination of the account either by the customer or the city due to lack of payment. Reactivation of an account terminated by the city for lack of payment where the deposit has been applied will require the above rate, plus an additional month’s water minimum charge to restore service.
