Article II. Water Crisis Emergencies

At any regular or special meeting of the city council, the mayor, with the consent of a majority of the council, may declare a water crisis state of emergency if, in the opinion of the mayor and a majority of the council, the adequacy of the water supply for the city of Yoncalla is sufficiently endangered to create a risk of danger to the health, safety and welfare of the people of the city of Yoncalla. Any declaration of a water crisis state of emergency shall be in writing, subscribed by the mayor and city recorder, and shall state the effective date and time of such declaration. (Ord. 222 § 1, 1977).
