(1) No person, firm, association or corporation shall, without authority from the public works superintendent, open any manhole or sewage lift station; or enter into or interfere or tamper with a sewer, manhole, sewage lift station, or city sewage lagoon property; or violate any rules or regulations adopted by resolution of the city council prohibiting the disposal of certain substances through the city sewerage system.

(2) Any person violating provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200.00, and a trust or entity violating provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $200.00. (Ord. 398 § 1, 2007; Ord. 227 § 2, 1977; Ord. 195 § 11, 1972).
