The city of Yoncalla may use such means of collection of rates and charges for sewer service as may be provided by the laws of the state of Oregon or permitted by the ordinances and charter of the city of Yoncalla, and any delinquencies may be certified to the assessor of Douglas County for collection in the manner provided in ORS 224.220. If not paid by the twentieth day of the month in which billed, the rates and charges shall be delinquent and a delinquent charge of $0.50 per month imposed. Any charge due hereunder which is not paid when due may be recovered in an action at law by the city of Yoncalla, in addition to other remedies for its collection.
