(1) The fire siren of the city of Yoncalla shall be sounded and used in the manner following, to-wit: In case of fire, by sounding one 60-second sound thereof; for sounding curfew, by sounding one short sound thereof; in case of enemy attack, by continuous sounding for a period of three three-minute blasts.

(2) Unauthorized Use. The siren shall not be sounded in any other manner excepting as may hereafter be authorized by the common council.

(3) Penalty. Any person or persons violating the provisions of subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof before the city judge of said city, shall be fined a sum of $100.00, and in default of payment of such fine shall be confined in the city jail for one day for each $2.00 of such fine.
