Willful failure to appear as a juror when duly summoned shall be deemed a contempt of court and may be summarily punished by a fine not exceeding $100.00 or by imprisonment in the city or county jail for no more than five days, or both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 245 § 13, 1978).
