For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions apply:

(1) “Applicable provision of law” includes any applicable provision of this code, of any city code applying to the use of public places, any applicable criminal or traffic law of the state of Oregon, any law regarding controlled substances or alcoholic beverages, and any applicable Douglas County regulations. For purposes of this definition, “applicable” means relating to the person’s conduct in the public place.

(2) “City property” means any city owned or leased building, structure, or land, including but not limited to City Hall, Public Library, City Shop, City Water Plant, City Lift Station/Wastewater Plant, and city parks, trails, and open space, and city parking lots.

(3) “Public place” means any public property, including city property.

(4) “Rules of conduct” means rules and regulations implementing this chapter, including but not limited to YMC 9.27.060, and adopted by the city administrator under the authority of YMC 9.27.050. (Ord. 438 § 3, 2020).
