Licenses issued hereunder may be revoked by the council upon conviction of the holder thereof for a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter. The council shall also have the right to revoke a license, the holder of which shall fail to operate his business in a clean, orderly manner, or who shall permit any violation of city ordinances or state or federal laws in his place of business. In addition, the common council shall recommend against renewal of any license issued by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission for any premises as to which a social games license has been revoked.
