“Baseline” means lines running north and south, and east and west from the centroid.

(1) The north-south baseline shall be Highway 99.

(2) The east-west baseline shall be 1st Street.

“Building” means a structure designed for human occupancy, such as a residence or place of business.

“Centroid” means the point at which the north-south and east-west baselines intersect.

“Street” means a public way used for vehicular traffic.

(1) “Dead-end street” or “cul-de-sac” means a street with only one outlet.

(2) “Major street” means a street of considerable continuity which is primarily a traffic artery for transportation among large areas or which carries a heavy volume of traffic. (Ord. 285, 1984; Ord. 261 § 3, 1981).
