12.10.020 Duty to repair and clear sidewalks.

(1) It is the duty of an owner or occupant of land adjoining a street to maintain in good repair and remove obstructions from the adjacent sidewalk.
(2) The adjacent property owner will not be held liable for damages to the sidewalks resulting from city-sponsored tree planting programs. (Ord. 337 § 1, 1994; Ord. 223 § 2, 1977).
