12.05.030 Maintenance priorities.

Insofar as policy the city’s resources and equipment will be allocated to alley and street maintenance in the following priority order:
(1) Repairs made necessary by city action in maintaining water, sewer and drainage facilities;
(2) Alleys generally used by the general public for access to commercial or public buildings;
(3) Other alleys and streets within the city. Adjacent property owners may request maintenance of alleys and shoulders in this category. When work is done at the request of property owners the requesting party shall pay to the city the reasonable cost of materials used in performing the maintenance.
(4) No maintenance shall be performed or gravel supplied to private property. (Ord. 299 § 3, 1987).
