The penalty for failure to comply with any provision of this chapter or to comply with any provisions of any permit issued pursuant to this chapter shall be as for a Class A misdemeanor punishable upon conviction by a fine up to a maximum of $2,500, or imprisonment up to a maximum of one year in jail, or both.
